Romans line up to watch the pride parade.  Foreign tourists loved the event - one elderly Japanese woman in pink curlers waved like crazy from her hotel window, much to the crowd's delight, and Lana and Amy from Melbourne Australia laughed from the sidelines, saying they "loved it."  Some of the local men, however, were less amused.

Pomponia and Petunia amuse the crowd.  They are from Trento, a small town near Verona (of Romeo & Juliet fame).  With the day's high winds, and all her flowers, Pomponia had a hard time keeping her hair from blowing away - but we've all had those days.
